5 Steps to Graduate at Semester

As the first semester comes to an end, for some seniors, their high school career is coming to an end. But how? There are a few steps you need to follow if you are wanting to be like some seniors and graduate early.

At South, you need 28 required credits to graduate. 4 credits a semester for 4 years totals up to 32 credits. In order to graduate early, it takes lots of planning early on with your counselor, and lots of dedication.

Here are the steps you need to follow in order to graduate early:

Step 1: Decide Early

Step 2: Make a plan with your counselor and focus on required courses first

Step 3: If you’re deciding later that you want to graduate, summer or 5th block courses are available

Step 4: Get the form approved by your counselor and Dr. Esco, as well as your parents

Step 5: Get ahead of the game and finish high school in 7 semesters!
