As Driven as Dawson

The senior class could best be described as diverse. Each member brings something new to the table and contributes to the South atmosphere.

One student stands out in particular, though. Characterized by his ambition and drive, Dawson Evans, senior, is one of the newest additions to The View staff.

When Evans isn’t studying for AP psych or government, you can find him on the soccer field year round.

“I’ve played soccer my whole life, and it’s just something I feel like I was born to play,” Evans said.

His ambition is no secret and, aside from constant soccer training, he’s serious about his goals for the future.

“I want to go to college, get a degree, figure out what I want to do, and learn new things I didn’t know about myself. These past high school years I’ve learned so much about myself. I want to get to know people and live my life.” said Evans

While academics and personal goals are priorities for him, Evans values the people who surround him. He enjoys spending time with his family, and going out with friends.

In a class of 400 students, it’s difficult for any one to stand out. Still, easygoing and bright, Evans has certainly managed to make a name for himself.
