Rage Cage Rules the Stands

A crowd roaring with cheers painted in purple or covered in leis, South’s Rage Cage always goes all out.

People here love to go and support their home team at the football games on Friday’s.

One of the best football games is the Homecoming game.

Shea Worley, sophomore, said, “My favorite football game is Homecoming. I love how much everyone goes all out,”

This year South won their Homecoming game; many people were overwhelmed and surprised by the ending score.

The players danced and celebrated as the Rage Cage ran out onto the field just in time to form a tunnel.

Ryan Chase, senior, said, “Being a senior this year is a completely different environment, people are way more spirited in the front and pay attention to the game a lot more. It’s a lot louder in the front and everyone goes all out for the theme.”

Everyone had an opinion on how the Rage Cage could use some improvement, though.

They believe that the freshman need more spirit.

“The freshmen could use just a little more spirit. When I look up at them they are mostly socializing with little to no cheering or paying attention,” Shea said.

It’s interesting to know what theme some of the students would they choose if they got to pick one.

“Anything but color by grade, that’s my least favorite. I personally like Hawaiian,” Keegan Good, sophomore, said.

The next football game is this Friday, Oct. 4. It’s a home game and the Rage Cage theme is USA.
