When you’re too old to Trick or Treat
Everyone has their own idea of what age is too old to be trick or treating, but the real question is what do you do on Halloween if you don’t do it?
We all hope every year that Halloween will be on a weekend, but that is almost always too good to be true. Halloween usually falls on a week day and school is never cancelled the day after.
With these obstacles it is hard to find a good way to spend Halloween, but I finally learned the most fun things to do after 5 years of not trick or treating.
Just because you aren’t going out and getting candy doesn’t mean that you can’t dress up. That’s the whole point of Halloween so whatever you do, dress up, it makes it more fun.
Watching a Halloween movie while handing out candy to younger kids in your neighborhood is a great way to celebrate and also make other kid’s Halloween better. Some Halloween classics are Goosebumps, Hocus Pocus, and Halloweentown.
Another great way to spend the Holiday as a retired trick or treater is by dressing up and going out to dinner with a good group of friends. Places like Applebees and Baskin Robbins offers Halloween specials.
Even though the days of trick or treating may have come to an end there are so many other ways to still celebrate this Holiday!
