Iron District

A new hang out has been recently opened on Iron Street in North Kansas City. A place called the Iron District, made entirely from recycled and redecorated storage containers, is the new talk of the town. It has 15 storage containers turned into restaurants, a tiki bar, and a boutique shop.

Avobite

This is an avocado bar that offers fresh and locally owned ingredients. I have tried the basic avocado toast, and it was the best thing I have ever had!

B-Rad’s

Here you’ll find smoked foods and BBQ just like Kansas City loves it. Some dishes are also served with international influences.

Kind Food

As you may assume, this is for the vegetarians/vegans out there. Their food is 100% plant based and environmentally friendly.

Morning Day Cafe

This place serves all your breakfast needs with flavored coffee, delicious pastries, and much more!

Plantain District

Based from Cuban Roots, these foods range from sweet to savory to spicy.

Sweet Treats

Safe Bakes and Snow Buh by Ice Cream Bae are also open! They have things from snow cone flavors to dessert.

Tiki Huna

This bar has live music right next door! Enjoy the tropical drinks on an evening out.

Retial

3&Me – Wide variey of fashion to allow you to have a unique look!

Boheme – Local artists and designers making art, candles, and jewlery

Wasteland Society – Apparel based on art, music, and culture.

As the weather turns cold, Iron District plans on closing for the winter. Be sure to stop by before the closing!! Help support your local businesses, and come out to North KC.
