An Unexpected Loss

Last Sunday the Kansas City Chiefs played the Las Vegas Raiders which is always a good rivalry game but was never expected to turn out the way it did. The chiefs ended up losing 40-32 which was the biggest loss margin chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has ever lost by. The last time the chiefs had loss to the raiders was Oct. 19 2017 about 3 years ago. They were definitely expecting to go 5-0 and move on to play the bills as an undefeated team. In this loss against the raiders the chiefs only had 80 rushing yards as a team; because of this the chiefs signed free agent Le’veon Bell who was the eighth highest rusher in the NFL in 2016 and third in 2017. Bell is coming off two very lackluster seasons with the New York Jets and will be looking to return to his 2017 self where he was third in the league in rushing yards with 1,291 yards. He averaged 4 yards per carry that year. If Bell gets back in his groove he should give the chiefs that extra boost they need on offense to win their next 3 games leading up to the bye week.
