Coffee Talk
Starbucks recently introduced their limited edition Holiday coffees. If you have a sweet tooth or like your coffee all doctored up, you will really enjoy them all. If you’re more of a black coffee/light sweetener kind of gal or guy, you may want to ask for light on the sugary syrups. The marketing behind these drinks brings in flocks of people and teenagers itching to try the limited specials. The rankings in my opinion are as follows:
- Peppermint mocha-the most classic of the flavors. If you’re wanting to get in the Christmas spirit, this is the drink to order. Tastes like more of a peppermint hot chocolate.
- Toasted white mocha-this one is very sweet but delicious. The combination of vanilla and that Starbucks espresso is nicely paired, too sweet for me but for a sweet coffee drinker it’s nice.
- Caramel brulee-this limited edition drink you can actually get year round, as a caramel latte or macchiato. It is a classic caramel coffee that’s marketed to be something new. Also too sweet for me.
- Chestnut praline-I don’t really get this flavor. It’s not bad at all and is sweet like all the others but it’s just kind of random and almondy. I like almond milk in my coffee not a nutty syrup.
