Tennis On and Off the Court

The tennis season is coming to an end this week after a successful run.

The last games of the season are on the 28th and the 29th. On Wednesday, the top 30 girls will be playing at Staley, and on Thursday, the Top 18 will be at Minor Park playing Notre Dame de Sion.

Norah Pruitt, a sophomore on JV is sad to see the season end so soon. She said “In the blink of an eye, it was all over, and now I’m having to say goodbye to my teammates who became my close friends.”

Districts and post season begin next week after the four week regular season ends.

Pruitt also added” This was a really great season, I loved all of the matches we played, and getting to go to away games. I was able to improve my skills and gain confidence in my playing and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me.”

Tennis has 4 different teams with 64 players combined, each team had its own schedule of matches against teams around the area like Staley, Kearney, and Liberty. Another triumphant run of the girls tennis season leaves us at Park Hill South proud.
