Titanic Review
The Titanic is a household title for many reasons. Everyone’s heard of this movie, but not everyone’s watched it. It’s a true story about a giant ship that tragically sank killing over 1,000 people. The movie about this 1912 tragedy came out in 1997, but recently resurfaced on my Netflix account.
The reason I avoided this movie for so long was because of its length. It’s a 3 hour and 14 minute movie so getting started can be taunting. That’s a long time, but when I finally turned it on I was pleasantly surprised. There wasn’t a second of boredom and the 3 hours seemed to go by in a flash.
The movie features Kate Winslet as Rose and a young Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack. These two, spoiler alert, fall in love and spend the movie fighting to save each other. The suspense, twists, and drama all pull the viewer in the entire time.
If you haven’t watched this movie, you’re missing out. I would totally recommend this movie and would give it a 5 out of 5 stars rating.
