Turnpike Troubadours Reunite
The American country music band Turnpike Troubadours have announced a comeback show at Red Rocks Amphitheater in May after taking a break in 2019.
Turnpike Troubadours, out of Stillwater, OK, have had several hit songs in the country and alternative country worlds including “Good Lord Lorrie,” “Long Hot Summer Day,” and “The Bird Hunters.” They released five albums under their own record label between the years of 2005 and 2017.
In 2019, some of the band members started to have issues in their personal lives, and they announced an indefinite hiatus in November of that year. In the months leading up to the announcement, they canceled several shows.
Fans were delighted to hear of their upcoming performance at Red Rocks, which will also feature the bands Shovels & Rope and Reckless Kelley.
