Arrive Alive

It’s been two years since the last arrive alive and a lot has changed. Two years ago every person at school attended. Arrive Alive is an awareness type meeting for driving under the influence and safe driving practices. In previous years, arrive alive took up all the athletic and panther preserve parking lots and used the football field as well. It included multiple stands about driving safely and the most popular stand; driving a cart with drunk goggles on. This was used to show how hard and unsafe it is to drive drunk. This year they put it on in the gym during lunch. There were 5 tables and one where you could get a shirt that says arrive alive. It was very well done and the attendance was crazy with tons of people at every table learning how to drive safely and stay away from driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Hopefully it makes a difference in keeping people safe for another year to come.
