Big Cat, Big Competition
It’s everybody’s favorite time of the year, the holiday season. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas mean time off school and eating a lot of good food which makes it everybody’s favorite. Another big excitement that comes along with this eventful season is Big Cat, and this year we have some promising candidates who are sure to entertain. One specific candidate who has already started preparing is Maddie Olson, senior.
“Seeing other seniors do it in the past and have so much fun with it made me want to do it this year!”
She plans to make the most of it while she starts preparing her skits and ideas for her entertaining act.
“I have already been recruiting people to help me,” Olson said in order to get an edge up on her competition.
According to Olson, senior Evan Oathout, and one of her close friends, is projected to be her biggest competition in this year’s Big Cat.
Olson is in it to win it and willing to dedicate whatever it takes to be the best. Since South has never seen a girl win Big Cat, Maddie plans on making history by being the first. It won’t be easy, but Maddie is ready to rise to the challenge.
