Check out “The Good Doctor”

Shaun Murphy may be a good doctor, but he is a struggling communicator.

“The Good Doctor” is about a group of surgical residents at St Jose St Bonaventure Hospital in British Columbia that are trying to earn their spot as a surgeon. Shaun, the main character, has savant syndrome which is someone who has mental disabilities but has skills that are far above average.

Shaun Murphy has a skill of memory. He has a very good memory which can involve fast response or quick calculations. Shaun is one of the surgical residents that struggles with communicating and letting people understand his emotions which has tested his bosses and co workers throughout the show.

The actors in the “Good Doctor” portray their character so well. Freddie Highmore, also known as Shaun Murphy, has one of the most difficult roles which was to act as if he had a disability. I think the way he expressed his emotions on the show and the way he carefully played Shaun was perfect.

“The Good Doctor” has so many plot twists, it is like always catching you off guard and leaving you in shock. The downfalls in this TV show has made me cry almost everytime because the directors of this show perfectly set the mood and know what hurts and how attached viewers get to the characters only to change something up.

I would rate this show a 5/5 stars because of the actors, plot, drama and so much more.

“The Good Doctor” is better than good…it is great.
