COVID-19 Movie Massacre
Movies and series have swept the 21st century in the forms of Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and more. But the movie theaters are the only place where you can catch the release of new big-name movies. Whether you are a die-hard Marvel fan, a scary movie addict, or just a casual comedy type of guy. Everyone who enjoys movies has something to look forward to.
As COVID-19 takes away our 2020, public places such as restaurants, coffee shops, small businesses, and movie theaters are temporarily shutting down. With this in place, what happens to the new movies coming out on Fridays? Well, many popular movies such as Marvel’s Black Widow have been pushed back significantly. Originally given a May 1st release, it has been pushed back until November 6th. Just wait, it gets worse.
Sorry to all the MCU fans, but with Black Widow getting pushed back. This also pushes back future MCU films such as The Eternals, Shang-Chi, Doctor Strange 2, Thor 4, and eventually Black Panther 2. Extending these dates all the way until 2022 and possible 2023.
Other movies such as the new Mulan, A Quiet Place Part II, James Bond: No Time To Die, Fast and Furious 9, Wonder Woman 1984, and a dozen more have been pushed back months upon months.
You better find a new show South, because you might have to wait a while.
