COVID-19 Park Hill Update
COVID-19 has taken a toll on not only the world, but Park Hill South. Looking ahead the Park Hill School District is moving into being all in-person by March 22nd. Park Hill released a statement saying, “According to data from our community and across the region, new cases and hospitalizations decreased significantly over the last several weeks. We have been monitoring this data, and we have also been watching less measurable factors, including mental health concerns and students who were struggling with learning outside the classroom.” While students may not be the happiest about this change, teachers are looking forward to having all their students in class at once. Speaking of teachers, the staff at South are getting their first dose of the vaccination tomorrow (March 18th) and their second on April 9th. Any Park Hill employee that is willing to get the vaccination is provided with the opportunity to get the Pfizer vaccine. South is looking forward to welcoming all students back to class in hopes of increased learning, motivation, and social interaction. For more information you can visit:
