Football Live Stream Hits 300 Viewers Consistently

The Advanced Broadcasting crew is hitting new records as their football live stream hit 300 viewers the last three times they have streamed.

Brett Walker, junior, said that he thinks the large group of fans can be annoying at times.

Walker said, “I think that if you attract the fans to a live stream more then you can create a better environment.”

However, Walker said he would not end the live stream.

Sean Hall, junior, had some things to say as a viewer.

“Although I did enjoy watching the event live, the announcer got some things wrong. However, I can deal with that if it means not paying for a seat,” he said.

Hall brought up the point that there would be less people in the stadium because it costs nothing to watch the stream online. However, broadcasting student Steven Kern had a different opinion.

“We are just trying to reach as many people as possible who don’t have the chance to go to the games, The true undying fans will keep showing up in person,” said Kern.

With more and more broadcasts in the future, one can only hope that the numbers keep climbing, if not staying the same. The next broadcast is this Friday, Sept. 27.
