Football falls to Blue Springs South on Senior Night

The last home game; a very emotional night for everyone as it is the last time the seniors in the band and on the dance, cheer, and football teams will perform at Preston Field.

South came out strong at the beginning of the game with an 80-yard touchdown from Matt Suchanick to Brock Ivy.

It was a very back and forth battle on both sides of the ball, ending the first half with a score of 17-27.

The Panthers came out strong into the second half striking first and then once more to go up 30-27.

Despite our strong defence led by Dylan Owens (18 total tackles), Cameron Gillespie (10 total tackles), and Mike Suchanick (10 total tackles), Blue Springs South was able to come back and score two more touchdowns, winning the game 30-41.

Although we did not win, our panthers left it all out on Preston Field for one last time this season and that is something to be proud of.
