South Football bagged another win last week against Truman (38-0) to make their record an impressive 4-3, much improved from years in the past.

Starting the game with a bang, Gage Warren scored off a 48-yard pass from Matt Suchanick. Warren had a total of three touchdowns, and this is the second game of the season he has done this. He is proving to be a playmaker, as he is ranked first in the Metro in receiving yards.

South had a lead of 14-0 at the half, after a 57-yard touchdown from Suchanick to Brock Ivy.

On the other side of the ball, South defence had another great performance and shutout for the second time this season.

Cameron Gillespie led the defence with eight tackles and one sack. Mike Suchanick also played a great game, with seven tackles, two sacks, and an interception.

Next week the Panthers are at home again against Blue Springs South and are hoping to add to their winning streak.
