Purchasing in Parkville
Shop ‘til you drop, locally! Within the past year there have been many new additions to the boutique scene of Parkville. All within a mile of each other, you don’t want to miss out on visiting Urban Trends, Sincerely Ellis, and J. Quinn.
First up, Urban Trends. Located about a mile up from the downtown area of Parkville, you can’t go wrong here. About a year ago, Jamie Duncan, Parkville resident opened her doors to the locals. With a wide selection of sweaters, jeans, and accessories there’s a lot to choose from inside Urban Trends. This store is a little on the high end pricewise side so come with that paycheck.
Right down the road from Urban Trends is Sincerely Ellis. With a Parkville location, and west bottoms warehouse, they have a wide variety of clothes and lots of stock in their items. The fun patterns and spunky graphic tees set them apart from many other boutiques. Kayla Taylor opened up the boutique a few years ago, and since then the store has been popular across the KC area. With over 11,000 instagram followers and a VIP club on facebook, the marketing for their retail is successful and benefiting their sales.
Lastly, across the street from Ellis is J. Quinn. Ran and owned locally by Parkville resident Jordan Murphy, this preppy upscale boutique has great seasonal clothes and dresses for nice occasions. Complete with accessories and fun belts, you can’t go wrong here.
In review, all the boutiques are great. The best part about all three is the local parkville girl can choose from a range of where to shop while supporting all three. Why go get something cheap from a made in china name brand at Zona when you can drive five minutes down the road and get something locally? Parvilleans are lucky to have these options at our fingertips.
