The most spirited group of students you will ever see : the Rage Cage. Rage Cage is the name of South’s student section. It varies in size from game to game, but is always filled with South’s biggest fans.
The atmosphere of the Rage Cage, however, changes every year depending on how involved the different grades are.
“Being in the rage cage makes me feel like a daddy lion among baby lions,” Garrett Anderson said.
Anderson, along with the rest of the senior class, has waited four long years to be at the front of the Rage Cage.
“I am a few steps closer to the front this year, and if I get to the games early enough I can get really close,” Kara Hagen, sophomore said.
Hagen believes the closer you are to the front the more involved you will be.
“Being in the Rage Cage as a junior is super fun, especially now that we are closer to the front and upperclassman,” Abby Wells, junior said.
Juniors are one year away from being in the front and taking control of the Rage Cage.
“The Rage Cage gets better as I get older. I would say this year is the best for sure,” Wells said.
“We are superior to every student section I have ever seen, and this year is the best because we have the best senior class to ever exist at South, “ Anderson said.
