South Volleyball prepares for districts

Isabel Day (Junior) is the outside hitter for the Park Hill South volleyball team. Volleyball will be going to districts this weekend which makes for a lot of preparation. 

The team and Day are excited to play even though they are put in a tough district this year. She hopes to see the team put up a good fight.  With everyone working together and trying their hardest she thinks it will be a good game. 

To prepare the team is working hard at their normal practice along with having positional training and game planning. Day is preparing in her own way as well, “I’m making sure to stay hydrated and have my full focus on during practice.”

This year the team is in a hard district, but Day seemed positive that it is any teams game and you never know what will happen. 

South volleyball won their conference this year with a record of 9-0.

South will take on Liberty this Saturday, the 23rd, at Liberty North.  Be there and bring your cheers and spirit!
