Spring Cleaning

Depending on exactly what you’re spring cleaning, you could be burning up to 200 calories per hour according to sharkclean.co.uk. We have approached that time of the year where we clean out our closets, organize our kitchen, and set the plants outside. It is spring cleaning time.  This year is different though because we do not just have a weekend to get it done, we have a couple of months.

The corona virus has caused me to stay in my house week after week.  I was sitting in my room the other day just observing, then slowly started getting grossed out. I figured it was the best time to start my spring cleaning. I enjoy having a lot of time to get a task done, so this was a pretty nice position for me to be in. I started in the bathroom and worked my way towards the bedroom part. So far, I am done with the bathroom and working on redoing my room. Painting the bathtub and some of my dressers will probably be the next step. I am not enjoying this quarantine, but I am enjoying the work I am getting done in the process.

My mom started in the kitchen last week, and we are thinking of completely redoing all of it.  She wants to extend the kitchen, paint the cabinets, and get a new backsplash. I am very excited for this because it is much needed and has been for a while. I think right now is a perfect time to clean or redo something you have always wanted to do. We have all the time in the world to get it done in a quality manner. Spring cleaning can be taken way further this year. Clean your car, go through your closets, scrub the floors, Windex the windows, and maybe even redo your deck! The world is yours for the next two months.
