Starbs Success

I’m back with some Starbucks reviews! As spring is trying its best to be sprung, Starbucks has released new iced coffee beverages for all of the iced coffee addicts of the world. As cold coffee gets more popular and popular, teens are flocking to coffee shops to try these two drinks. Not only are they cold, but with the added addition of non-dairy milk the coffees are taking a healthier approach. Here are my descriptions and takes below!:

(Disclaimer: I tried both of these drinks while at airports, sleep deprived, and hangry. Nonetheless, I approved of both)!

Iced Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso: First up, the iced brown sugar with oat milk. Starbucks was really trying to highlight the trend of oat milk and oats in general, and with a touch of brown sugar and lots of cinnamon, it works. I found both of these coffees are less on the sweet side, so if you are a cold brew or fan of the bolder, stronger coffees, you’ll like this. This one was stronger than the almond milk one, which I didn’t mind. My only complaint being the cinnamon and brown sugar medley at least when I had it did not blend into the liquids, making the drink a little almost chalky.

Final Review: 7/10

Iced Chocolate Almond Milk Shaken Espresso: A few days after sampling the oat milk espresso I ended up finding my way back at Starbucks to try this drink. If you like chocolate milk, you will LOVE this drink. While also giving off strong and bold espresso flavors, the chocolate paired with the almond milk makes for a great sweetener and chocolate milk/coffee duo. The drink was also smooth, well blended, and tasted the same with each sip. I will be getting this one again, also considering it was 20 calories healthier than the other drink.

Final Review: 9.5/10
