Stuco’s Spring Spirit
With South’s spirit week and third quarter both coming to a close, things seem to be slowing down around the school. However, there’s one group that shows no signs of losing steam once students come back, and that’s Stuco.
“We’re hosting an assembly on Friday that’s meant to be a sendoff for this quarter, it’s mostly intended to get everyone excited for break and start it off right,” said Skyelar Nelson, junior.
After the hard-earned break, students can expect to see Stuco hosting additional events such as a 5K in May. Furthermore, they plan on initiating more enthusiastic and more frequent assemblies in the future.
“It’s been really exciting to see our hard work pay off this semester. This year we’ve really tried to amp up spirit weeks for dances, and events like our blood drive have had a huge positive impact on our community,” said Riley Parman, sophomore.
Bearing all this in mind, Stuco is set on delivering on their promises and doing what they can to make the final quarter of the year more enjoyable for students and staff alike.
