Student Profile: Alyssa Kobayashi
Alyssa Kobayashi, junior, Is a young, motivated, and hardworking student. She works hard on keeping her grades up and focusing on her classes one step at a time.
Kobayashi has been able to keep a 4.0 throughout her high school career. She is taking rigorous classes such as Math Analysis, AP Language and Composition, and AP Psychology.
“I have worked the hardest this year in Math Analysis and hope to further my math skills by taking Calculous next year,” said Kobayashi.
Her favorite class this year has been Newspaper. She has written numerous stories that shock her audience in the best way possible. Designing her pages brings her joy, she loves getting creative and making her own art on paper.
Kobayashi said, “Newspaper is my most enjoyable class, writing and designing lets me show my creative side throughout the day.”
Although school excites her, she has her most fun playing the sport she loves, volleyball. She has played the sport since she was eight years old, and has played at south for all three years. Kobayashi is a middle-back on the court, she gives all her effort digging and passing.
“I am most excited for my senior season for volleyball, the girls are the best and we have so much fun as a team,” Kobayashi said.
Kobayashi is ready for her senior year. Improving her academic and athletic skills, she strives for a memorable year. Her friends and family keep her motivated to work hard.
