The Sophie Situation

Ever since my sophomore year, being in the newspaper class has been one of my favorite things about my high school time.  I would (and still avidly am) recommending this class to anyone that walks the halls of Park Hill South. With a promising group of over 10 new writers, there’s a lot of new friends in this class that I have gotten to know.  One of those people is Sophie Hayes.

Sophie; A proud owner of fish, hot buffalo pretzel eater, tennis stud, and apple music user is embarking on her senior year.  “I don’t want to wish away any time this year,” Hayes said. Sophie also has a really tight knit group of friends in her senior class.  An average weekend for her consists of going out with the gals, and getting in a babysitting job.

Along with her close friends, Hayes is also close with her brother Cooper (graduated senior).  “I would definitely consider him one of my best friends,” Hayes said. Both Hayes siblings have gotten closer through the years and back each other up when it comes to persuasion of their parents.

Through learning all this, one thing can be certain; I’m glad Sophie Hayes is in our class.
