Six Video Game Mini-Reviews

***Rating system is Smashed controllers. This is a reference to when a gamer rage they break their controllers by hitting it against the ground. The more broken controllers, the worse the game.

“The Walking Dead Season Four” is the last game that Telltale has made as they went bankrupt back in 2017. This is the closing chapter in the story that is Telltale. It is not the best, as they take away meaningful choices in favor of a conclusive end. It also has the least amount of choices out of any Telltale game. 3/5 Smashed Controllers

“Octopath Traveler” is a JRPG game made by Square Enix. With eight  playable characters and amazing graphics, you can explore the beautiful world and see the wonderful stories these characters interact with and how they each achieve their goals. The game is a bit grindy and has many hard fights so beware. 1/5 Smashed Controllers

“Fire Emblem Three Houses” is the latest in the Series of Strategy games. I fell in love with the characters and their stories and how they reacted. They are amazing as they all have their own stories and characteristics. The gameplay is outstanding and very complex, easy to learn but hard to master. Multiple playthroughs are required though as the stories have so many outcomes to fully meet all of their expectations.
0/5 Smashed Controllers

“The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan” was a dumpster fire of a game. With scares relying off of jumpscares and a confusing story with very stiff controls, it made for an unpleasant experience. They obviously wanted to make a movie but at the last minute, made a video game instead.
4.5/5 Smashed Controllers

“Borderlands 3” is the best in the entire series. The humor and gameplay has never been better and the new multiplayer experiences give the lower level characters a better shot of catching up to the higher level characters. However, FPS have always lacked challenge at certain points.
1/5 Smashed Controllers

My Final Game I will review is “Mario and Sonic at the 2020 Olympic Games.” Not the best in the series as the mini-games are lackluster at times, however the story mode is great and it controls fantastically.
2/5 Smashed Controllers
