What’s Cooking with Brandon?
Brandon Cook first entered c200 his Junior year to take photo journalism. Now a Senior, he’s back joining the newspaper staff for the first time after being encouraged to take the class by former sports editor, Ethan Farrow (now graduated).
When he’s not writing for the paper, Cook enjoys hanging out with his friends, listening to NBA Youngboy, and playing PS4–the superior console, a point which he is adamant about.
“If you’re not playing PS4, you’re not playing right,” Cook said. “Xbox is not it.”
After highschool, Cook plans to enter the workforce and begin his life’s ambition of collecting every pair of Jordans ever made.
“If I could only wear one clothing company, it would definitely be Jordan. I want two of every pair so I can still wear them.”
Cook is the youngest of three siblings, making him the last of his family to come through South.
“It’s been fun but I’m so ready to be done,” Cook said.
Along with graduation, he looks forward to improving his writing and the release of incarcerated New York Rapper, Bobby Shmurda: who Cook believes will come back as hot as ever.
“No way Bobby Shmurda doesn’t go crazy when he gets out. I’m so hyped.”
